A post about seersucker requires no text: Wear it. Work it. Love it. Live it.

A beautiful post, Mr. Trad, one of your best...and, as Mr. Morali pointed out, all without a single bit of copy.

Mr. Trad, I remember fondly the choices I had as a younger man - seersucker or pincord in blue, gray, red, or pale yellow...single or double breasted...plain or pleated trousers...you get the picture. Alas, long gone is the multitude of choices, as well as the number of purveyors manufacturing quality three-button sack style, plain front mens' suits. Worse yet, shrinking is the audience to which fine clothing appeals. I both bless and curse 'Don Drapper,' because, where I'm from, his style is now de rigueur.

Once again, Mr. Trad, bravo! Get yee to Saratoga this August, we'll have a seat for you at the rail, and a double Old-Fashioned on standby.

Mr. Morali,

couldn't have said it better myself.

Mr. Press,

Thanks very much. You may also like this coming Monday's post.

If you see me at Saratoga, I'll be the one with the strange Southern accent and the Montpelier Races steeplechase baseball cap.
