Why is it that some posts receive no comments at all, while other go off on quite the tangent?

BTW - Felix Rohatyn is not dead.

Anon 8:12,

Good question and one for which I have no good answer.

These outbursts could be a case of wonderful synchronicity brought about by warped minds independently coming together out of sheer boredom.

I believe that's called "folie a deaux," and I agree.

Warped minds is right. Jim Dandy stole my cat!

If Jim Dandy really did steal your cat, trust me, you don't want it back.

Jim Dandy may be a cad and perhaps he stole your cap or even your car, but as his third cousin, I happen to know that he hates cats!

Earl Dandy? Aren't you the guy who claimed he'd "paint any car for just $99" back in the 80s? Hmm, maybe that was Earl Scheib...

Anyhow, that cousin of yours like cats plenty - it's ferrets that he can't stand. And we all know why.

Nope, it was definitely Jim Dandy that stole my cat. He was driving a '87 Cadillac with a BK Euro sticker on the rear window and personalized New York tags that read "TCOB."

anditBu1That sure does sound like Jim Dandy.

BTW, I saw Bucky this past weekend....on a taxi-cab yellow Vespa flipping some lady (it might have been Mildred?) the bird on Flatbush Avenue. He was wearing buckskin chaps with fringe, a vintage Rolling Stones concert t-shirt, and a Trailer Trad trucker's cap. That dude is awesome.

I am awesome. And I stole that cap from the father on Orange County Choppers.
