Trailer Trad Attire: Uniqlo

My daughter's penchant for Asian style (she currently likes Mixxmix) must be rubbing off on me. Tennis season is coming up and I've gone all in buying up Uniqlo tennis gear. I had noticed their gear for a while on tennis FREAK world #1 Novak Djokovic and Asia #1 Kei Nishikori. What's interesting is that Uniqlo is really a fashion house, a little like a J. Crew--but cooler. Sporting attire and high profile endorsements are kind of a fluke for them; thus a source of its appeal for me.

Their prices are good but what seals the deal for me is the great fit and comfort of their gear. Aussie golfer Adam Scott also wears Uniqlo and looks good doing it. -It must drive Underarmour and Nike crazy that this weird brand has these guys and they don't!
Like I said, Uniqlo offers a full range of stuff including everything from jackets to shorts. They also have cool undergarments and socks at very fair prices.

Liberty of London prints for men? Really? Hell yes.

Trailer Trad Tunes: This is What You Should Be Listening to This Spring

I've found a station that is quite extraordinary. As you know, I'm particular about my music and I have a hard time finding what I can consistently listen to. Obviously, typical radio stations give me hives. Mass-produced Fm crap whether it be country, top 40 (does that exist anymore?), or Urban obviously is unlistenable. In addition, I quickly tire of robot-curated play lists too whether they be from Spotify, Pandora, or even YouTube. Even a lot of college and alternative radio doesn't satisfy me. Our local college station (I miss WKNC NC State radio!) is like Appachian State's station in that it seems to subscribe to a kind of robot 'oldie alt.' play list that spits out decade old college music like like it's current. Don't get me wrong, I like and respect a lot of it but, really, there are more groups than The Arcade Fire, The Yeah Yeahs Yeahs, Death Cab, and Interpol.
Alright, enough lead up. Ready for what you need to listen to, like now? The easiest way to listen is to go to Streema.com and type in Le Son Parisien. Le Son Parisien is a Paris-based station that primarily specializes in electronica and shoe-gaze. It works so well all day long. The sounds are nearly all listenable, fresh, and cool. The hipster dorks in ear-shot will soil their selvage. Great to chill to yet also great to workout to. Beats ANYTHING I've found in the States.

Here are a few random examples played lately.
