Last year, I really enjoyed the Fly Emirates "Hello Tomorrow" ad compaign shown during the tennis grand slams. This new ad from Lacoste called "The Big Leap" shown during Roland Garros is a worthy follow-up and is sophisticated enough to capture the French style that the brand is known for.
Air Emirates' beautiful "Hello Tomorrow" ad campaign is probably my favorite but all of the company's commercials and sponsorships (rugby in addition to professional tennis!) seem savvy and right on the mark.

Memorial Weekend Goin' to Meeting Gear (reshown)
"Don't wear white before Memorial Day", they say. Who am I to object? So I waited patiently to break out the ol' summertime gear.
It's Memorial Day Weekend and will soon be time for church. I've selected what's going to go on my back for the 8:15 service where I sit in back of the balcony. All of the church's city leaders, politicians, lawyers and the rest wear the usual navy suit, white shirt and tie that they wear during the week.

I think that I'll wear something like this...

2014 North Hills British Roadster Auto Show
You know it's warm weather driving season when those open-air, fun-driving Triumphs, MGs, Morgans, Jaguars, etc converge on North Hills in Raleigh. This year seemed better than ever with some stunning earlier models on display. I don't know which their owners seemed to enjoy more, seeing their polished babies adored and coveted or admiring those of their fellow enthusiasts.
